European Commission provides guidelines on social security for displaced workers as a result of Covid 19. A1 Certificates
The European Commission on April 6th 2020 released guidance to help organizations concerned with their social security implications for workers displaced because of COVID-19. They outline certain scenarios that might generate social security issues due to workers being displaced unexpectedly. In brief, the guide suggests that the most common situations should not be affected by work performed unexpectedly in another Member State due to COVID-19 and no new A1 certificate needs to be obtained.
